FAQ

How can my child join a training program?

To enroll your young athlete in our training program at Highpoint Athletics, visit our booking site to schedule a training. Parents can indicate areas of concern or preferred improvement options.

does my athlete need his own equipment?

It is always recommended that all athletes arrive with their own glove, hat, and bat. Protective equipment, such as cup and/or helmet is mandatory when electing to train for a defensive  or offensive position - catching or batting.

can I cancel or reschedule a training?

Absolutely! Highpoint Athletics offers cancelling or rescheduling up to 24 hours in advance. Failure to show up or reschedule without notice will not be refunded.

what age group does highpoint train?

Our group sessions, open practices and seasonal camps are tailored to players ages 8+. Our training groups are ideal for farm-pinto (8u), minor-mustang (10u), major-bronco (12u), junior-pony (14u) division level players. Our 1-on-1 Private Training is available for players of any age, including beginners preparing for their first season.

what happens at the first session?

Players will be evaluated based on current skill. Coaches will provide mechanical adjustments and help build stronger fundamentals that can be practiced at home. Parents will then be given a clear assessment on their players throwing mechanics, hitting fundamentals, fielding evaluation, and baseball IQ discussion in an effort to consider a training path that is suitable for the player's needs.
